What equipment does my swimmer need?
We strongly encourage your child to wear goggles during their swim lessons. Young children need special goggles that fit. Please buy goggles from us to ensure that your child has the correct kind. We also require that swimmers with long hair have it in a tight ponytail for lessons. It is hard to swim if they have their hair in their face. If you would like to purchase a swim cap, you may do that also.
My swimmer doesn’t like to wear goggles, what should I do?
Make sure that the goggles are not too tight. Also, make sure that the eye socket fits their face correctly. For help with this, ask your swimmer’s instructor.
Can my swimmer wear earplugs?
Absolutely!
Can my swimmer wear a nose plug?
No. We teach the swimmers to blow bubbles out their nose. This is because you cannot wear a nose plug as a competitive swimmer.
